Thankful for...

Today was a long day for me. One of those that just starts off wrong and never really gets better. Jeremy hired-back to the fire station which means he will not be home tonight...again. :(  That set the pace for the rest of the day. I had planned on coming home and unpacking some things (yes, I still have crap that I haven't unpacked) but decided I need to sit and relax for a minute first. I will admit at times I am a little overly dramatic (don't tell my husband) about the little things. But I guess it  is the way I was made, and I fear that it will NEVER go away. So with a glass of wine or two and a little blogging time I hope to  ease my mind.

I am a home health nurse so I do a lot of driving. On the nice clear days it's not so bad. I mean, I get to drive around with the sunroof open and crank up my music. But the other day I was driving and it was super duper cold out and raining. I passed a couple pushing a stroller. They had thrown a blanket over the top of the stroller trying to keep the rain out and the man had just a t-shirt on. I couldn't quit thinking about how cold they must be and that poor baby too! At that moment whatever petty little problem I was stressing about left my mind. I felt BAD for THEM.

Today I was driving down the road in one of those parts of town that you check to make sure you doors are locked when you pull up to the stop sign. The houses were mostly old and dilapidated. There were three or four kids running and playing in one of the front yards. I thought to myself how scared I would be to let my children play in that neighborhood. And then I realized, not everyone has a choice. At that moment I felt guilty. Guilty for letting my mind waste time on such pointless junk when people have REAL problems.

So tonight I am going to spend time thinking about the things that I am thankful for!

-Most of all, I am thankful for my husband.
I am thankful that I have someone to miss when they are gone. I am thankful that he is here for me. He is my sounding board, my cuddlebug, my personal chef, my everything.

- My daddy!
He is the best father anyone could ask for. He is always there for me no matter what crazy thing I am asking for. He is such a great man and goes above and beyond for me and Justin.

- My Nitsuj (Justin)
He has always taken care of me and has always been there for me. He might be a pain in the ass at times...but the best brother ever!

- My Momma
She is a beautiful woman and so caring. Can't wait to spend time with her at Christmas.

- Sammy and Leeroy

Jeremy's parents have always been here for us. They are more than willing to help us when we need it. I couldn't ask for better in-laws.

- Eric, Steph, and the kids
Steph is always there for me and such a fun person the be around. The kids are precious and I just love them!

- My Gma and Gpa
They are my go-to peeps! They have taught me so much in life and I love them so much!

-Maw Maw and Paw Paw
There are such great people and awesome grandparents. Full of good advice too! :)

- Our boys!
They light up my life each and every day! Even though Laker has some terrible, and I mean terrible, gas tonight!

- There are so many more people and things I am thankful for but these are just a few.

After two glasses down and a lot off my mind I feel much better! I am looking forward to the next few days filled with Turkey and Family! Love it! :)

Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Jones!

So it's official...we are now Mr. and Mrs. Jones! The wedding was everything and more than we could have ever dreamt of! We were so lucky to have so many friends and family that came to share it with us. It was truly the best day of my life and at the end of it, I got to ride away in a limo with my best friend! :) Here are a few photos that our friend Sue took! We will have more from Meegan soon!

Our honeymoon was great! We were so ready to get home to our boys though!

The last few months have been totally hectic and crazy but we wouldn't have had it any other way. We have finally gotten moved into our house and it is slowly coming together perfectly! The boys have adjusted to having a HUGE backyard and really love their new home. We couldn't be happier!

Here are a few more pics that I haven't had time to post!
