one month to go!

Well, we have exactly one month to go until the wedding! I can't believe it is so stinkin close! We have had so much going on it has totally snuck up on us! We have a couple of showers this weekend that I am certain will be just fabulous and we can't wait! :) I will say, the stress of planning a wedding multiplies times 1000 when you hit the one month mark! My mind is EVERYWHERE! But, I know I can make it happen! While watching TV the other day I heard the best song for our "first dance"! After a little searching, I found it on iTunes and  just can't quit listening to it! I'm SO excited! I also can't quit thinking about our HONEYMOON! That is going to be such a relaxing end to such a stressful time! And when I say stressful, I mean STRESSFUL! I will explain...I just recently decided to take a different job. I was working in the Emergency Department and loved it! But my schedule was starting to really take its toll on Jeremy and me. Our sleep/wake cycles were totally opposite and it made for some really cranky days! While trying to work at night and sleep during the day (sometimes), we were also trying to remodel our NEW house! Because I wanted to sleep all day poor Jeremy had to make all of the decisions and pick out all of the stuff only to hear me complain when it wasn't what I liked! He was a trooper though and the house is going to look great! We, or should I say I, have been trying to squeeze in a little painting here and there when I have a chance but our schedules are super busy! Jeremy HATES to paint! So back to the story...I took the new job at a home health agency that I used to work for as a clerk! It is completely different from the ER but I am really enjoying it. I work Mon-Fri and am home every night! I really love my little old patients and their crazy stories! The schedule is much better on Jeremy and I and I couldn't be happier with where I am at in my career. Now, back to the stresses of remodeling a house! There are SO many choices and SO many decisions to make that it can TOTALLY wear a person out! AND, it's TOTALLY expensive! Add that to a TOTALLY expensive wedding and it makes for a VERY stressful time! But, I know that it is all going to be worth it in the long run and I can't wait to see the house come together! The wedding is going to be PERFECT too! Now to the fun part about getting married...the BACHELORETTE party! Me and all of my bridesmaids plus my good friend Donna all took a trip to Oklahoma City for my "bachelorette weekend"! It was such a great weekend! We ate at The Melting Pot the first night and went to The Sky Bar. We stayed up and talked and giggled and had a great time. The second day we ate at Abuelo's (one of my favs) and the went to Murphy's Piano Bar. Boy did we have a good time there! We had a bachelorette card game with little activities to accomplish. If ya did the activity, ya got points. Well....I WON! :) Here are some of the pics from the great weekend!
