 Finishing was the best feeling ever!

 JJ rockin it in Ruidoso! Such a pretty place. We had a wonderful time! This was the first time we ever had to leave Laker. He stayed at our vet's kennel. They called every night and gave us updates on how he was doing but OH did we ever miss him!

Needing motivation!

Okay so I was needing a little motivation to get my butt in gear with the half-marathon training stuff! Looking back at these pictures makes me remember how awesome of an experience this race was!

 The whole town was geared up for this marathon. I was so blown away by the amount of support!

 Jeremy was such a trooper! He let me drag him around OKC, boss him around (I made him take LOTS of pics), and he even got up early to be there when I started. He knew how important it was to me and was there every step of the way! :)

 Finishing was such an amazing feeling! Can't wait to go back!!!!

Why blog?

So, for a long time I've wondered why blog???  I finally came up with a few reasons....

 OUR PUPS - We have been blessed with the most loving little guys ever. Laker will be two in April. We got him after only a fews months of dating. I think he was an effort to make our relationship have a little "stability"! Jeremy had been telling me no about getting a new puppy for a few weeks. I finally found Laker online, took a picture with my cell phone, and sent it to him. We went and picked him up that weekend! He was just so stinking adorable!  Of course, he was a problem puppy and was very difficult and expensive to take care of at first. But now he is such a good dog, and he loves cuddling with his momma and little brother Tripp too. We found Tripp this past year in the Market Street parking lot. A lady had just saved him from running under a truck. Jeremy saw him and said, "Look at that little guy! Isn't he so cute?" Well, come to find out, that "little guy" was homeless and Jeremy had "ALWAYS WANTED A PUPPY LIKE THAT!" So, I said we could keep him while we looked for his owner. And needless to say, Tripp lucked in to a wonderful family! We love our dogs and are so happy to have them. Sometimes when we need a get-a-way, Granny (Jeremy's mom) keeps them. They love to visit her!

LOVE - Jeremy and I have known each other since I was five. He and my brother are best friends. As you can imagine, this caused a little bit of ruckus when we decided to start seeing each other a little over two years ago. Jeremy is also like a second son to my dad! So, he didn't much approve either! We were persistent and decided to keep seeing each other despite their wishes. I am so thankful we didn't give up. He is truly my best friend. He helps me through my toughest days and always knows what to say. We live together, we learn together, and we love each other! He has been such a blessing to my world....

AND WINE - Well, wine just makes everything better! :)
