dress shopping!

Yesterday was a pretty good day! I got some wedding stuff done and hung out at the lake with dad and Sandra! Then Steph called and wanted to know if I wanted to go to dinner with her and Sammy and the kids! Of course I did...I am ALWAYS up for food! But I had a surprise for Steph too! She was doing Insanity workout when I got there. After a few minutes I told her she needed to stop. She asked me "why?" I told her because I needed for her to try on a dress! "A dress for what?" When I told her a BRIDESMAID dress she got super excited and ran over and gave me a big sweaty hug! :) She was sooo excited and so am I! After dinner we went to David's Bridal for Kelby and Granny to try on dresses! Kelby looked like such a little princess! Granny found a few that she loved as well! Next it will be Hunter's turn and I can't wait to see how handsome he looks in his little "tudeedo"! The whole family is going to be all dressed up and I can't wait to see everyone! I get more and more excited as each day passes! 87 DAYS TO GO!

On another note, we are closing on our house this morning! We are so excited and can't wait to get the keys! I will be a first time home buyer! I am so ready to start decorating the new house! Will post pics soon! :)

sleepless nights!

With 87 days to go until the wedding things are getting super busy and hectic! As I have said before, I love all of the craziness that comes with wedding planning because I am 100% certain that mine is going to be absolutely PERFECT! BUT, I have recently started waking up all hours of the night (on my actual nights off) with wedding thoughts in my head! It is then like instinct for me to jump into planning mode which makes it impossible for me to go back to sleep! With our wedding date approaching rapidly, there is no time to waste! But let me tell ya, this makes for one sleepy girl during the day! So here I am blogging at 4:30 in the morning! Good thing I am off tomorrow and am going to the lake to hang out with my daddy and Sandra! I'm sure there will plenty of napping around that place! :)

Speaking of dad and Sandra, their wedding was just perfect for them. We all got to the Holliday Inn early and got ready together in one of the rooms. I will say, there was WAY too much estrogen in that room! And curling irons...EVERYWHERE! I was nervously awaiting a shrill scream from one of the TEN kids as they grabbed one of the TEN hot irons! Luckily we made it through with no major injuries. Can you tell i'm not ready for little ones yet? Good thing for mimosas! :) The wedding ceremony turned out great! Dad looked so handsome and cute in his black wranglers and white button up. Sandra looked very pretty and as always, very skinny! :) I am so happy for them! Aunt Sheri did a very good job of putting everything together for the wedding and after a little bossy-bossy on her part, it came together beautifully. I am so thankful for everyone who came. It was a special day for dad and Sandra and I don't think they could have asked for a better one! After the party J and I headed home for a quick nap. All those kiddos wore me out... :). Then everyone went to dad and Sandra's for a shrimp boil and cookout! Sammy was even able to make it! It was a great day! Here are some pics of the wedding! :)

exciting times!

Well hello! It's been forever since my last post! The last few months have been super exciting and busy for us! I just finished my training in the ER at United Regional. Sunday will be my first shift ALL on my own! The people I work with are totally awesome and always willing to help so that makes going to work so much better! :)

We are also going to be moving soon! We found a house that we just love and can't wait to fix it up and start decorating! It has a huge backyard for the boys that they will just LOVE! We close on Wednesday and are so super excited!

The wedding plans are also coming along pretty good!!! Lyndsay came by tonight and reminded me of exactly how much I DON'T have done! Lol! We decided to pick a day once a week and start chipping away at all of the things that need to be done! There are so many aspects to look at when planning a wedding! It's just crazy! Jeremy has been so sweet and helps out when he can too! It's so stressful now but it is such a great feeling to know that our wedding day is going to be just perfect! 90 days to go!!!!

We also found out that we are going to have a new addition to our family! NO, I AM NOT PREGNANT! But, my brother's girlfriend is! They are having a little boy in November and we are all so excited to meet him! I am truly convinced that little Cason Eugene is going to be just a precious as his Auntie C...even with that middle name that guarantees him to be a stinker like his daddy, grandpa, and great grandpa! :)

My parents have also experienced some exciting things this year. My mother just recently got married and will be moving to Louisiana soon! I am super duper excited for them! AND, my daddy is getting married tomorrow! He and Sandra are having their ceremony and then we get to party at his house with a shrimp boil! So happy for them!

Tomorrow is also the birth date of my brother, Brewster. His life with us was short but we will always remember the good times we were able to share with him. I am so happy that we will all be together tomorrow to remember his time with us. We miss ya Brew! <3

So that should catch everyone up to date! The last few months have been so good to us! I can't wait for all the new and wonderful things to come this year! And the best part is, I get to experience them with my best friend! He is such a blessing to my world!

Here are some of our engagement pics that Meegan Weaver took! She is amazing and I am so happy she is going to be with us on our wedding day to capture our love for one another! :)
